The Trauma-informed Business Transformation Process (TiBTP ©) is designed to identify and disrupt the underlying trauma driven behavioral cycles and cognitive distortions that hinder business performance, leadership effectiveness, and organizational stability.
Unlike traditional consulting, this model integrates clinical principles from the Transtheoretical Model of Change (Five Stages of Change), addiction recovery frameworks, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address the root causes of dysfunction, not just the surface level business symptoms.
Through this approach, business owners will learn to challenge distorted beliefs, replace self-defeating thought patterns, and build sustainable behaviors that promote long term growth and resilience.
The process follows a structured, phased approach based on the five stages of change: Precontemplation, Contemplation, Preparation, Action, and Maintenance, with an integrated Relapse Response Protocol.
Each phase incorporates both clinical insight and business strategy, using CBT tools to help clients recognize the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and how these patterns affect decision making, leadership, and company culture.

Conduct trauma-informed business intake to identify behavior cycles, addictions, coping styles, and relationship patterns using CBT assessments, while building trust and assessing readiness for change.

Facilitate guided reflection to connect trauma history with current business struggles, using CBT techniques to uncover cognitive distortions, self-sabotaging behaviors, and core beliefs.

Co-create a Business Recovery Plan, establishing behavioral, relational, operational, and financial goals while incorporating CBT skill training, support structures, accountability, and relapse prevention measures.

Support the execution of new business behaviors, policies, and relationship strategies while providing coaching, CBT skills, and structured practice to replace maladaptive thought patterns.

Shift from coaching to periodic monitoring while reinforcing habits, strengthening support systems, applying CBT relapse prevention, and reviewing performance to ensure long-term sustainability.

Identify triggers and setbacks as part of the change process, provide rapid re-engagement strategies, apply CBT coping tools, and rebuild accountability systems to prevent long-term regression.
